    Borrowed Box is a work derived from participatory architectural exercises, as seen in public engagement programs at museums. The artist is interested in these small, collaboratively created “architectures,” which are less about function and more about inner spatial experiences: provisional, open, permeable, and full of potential relationships. The “box” thus becomes a metaphor for an internal, bodily architecture—uncertain, dialogic, and open to imagination.
