Sean Landers’s new painting Lincoln in the Bardo is now on view at the Metropolitan Opera at Lincoln Center in New York. The work celebrates the world premiere of Lincoln in the Bardo, an operatic adaptation of George Saunders’s Booker Prize–winning novel composed by Missy Mazzoli.

 

The exhibition is curated by Gallery Met director and curator Dodie Kazanjian and will be on view through November 14, 2026. ⁠
