'COLLOQUI: Carla Accardi, Letizia Battaglia, Renata Boero, Isabella Ducrot, Nanda Vigo' (Group Show), Orestiadi Foundation, Gibellina
January 15 – April 19, 2026

The exhibition brings into dialogue the works, languages, and memories of five central figures in the recent history of Gibellina – Carla Accardi, Letizia Battaglia, Renata Boero, Isabella Ducrot, Nanda Vigo – in order to explore the bold and radical visions of these protagonists of late 20th-century art.

The dialogue is that between the arts and the city rebuilt after the 1968 earthquake, constantly expressed in this venue of the Museo delle Trame mediterranee, where affinities and connections transcend traditional creative boundaries in different moments and forms, yet with many conceptual and methodological references. It is also the dialogue that Ludovico Corrao establishes with the community and the artists, who were called upon to participate in the post-earthquake reconstruction process and in the art residencies that, in the following years, many went on to realize.

In the name of Gibellina, a shared path emerges, where individual identities find space, firmly rooted in their own research yet united by a continuous commitment to renewal in art. Colloqui aims to create a space for reflection not only on the past, but also on the present time, in an ever-open dialogue addressed to multiple generations of artists, scholars, and enthusiasts, who are invited to view Gibellina’s heritage as a living resource for contemporary research.
