The exhibition is a culmination of seven years of Sobczak's reasearch on the Anabaptist community the exhibition is a culmination of seven years of my research on the Anabaptist community. These were radical Protestants who, in the 16th century, brought together peasants and townspeople to form communes that banned private property and money. Yet every utopia inevitably turns into a dystopia… The exhibition will feature works created between 2018 and 2025, as well as Sobczak's new film, a documentary about the search for his Anabaptist ancestors.
