This painting is a tribute and memorial, based on the dome-like design that came to represent the spiritual journey of the great Buddhist teacher Ram Dass. A contemporary of writer Alan Watts and psychologist Timothy Leary, Dass renounced Western norms and left his teaching at Harvard to devote himself to the well-being of others and the planet. Dass passed away in 2019.
