In my upbringing, I was indoctrinated to believe that home is connected to land. This belief became the central subject of my work, leading me to develop an artistic language...In my upbringing, I was indoctrinated to believe that home is connected to land.
This belief became the central subject of my work, leading me to develop an artistic language that both deconstructs and questions it.
Having the privileged status of officially belonging to a state, not being a refugee, I think of home as a no-place, as a moving condition.
Home became anything but one place.
