Little is known about Eva Kotchever’s activities in Poland after her deportation from New York to Warsaw in 1925; this time period remains a subject of ongoing research for historians. Kotchever then relocated from Warsaw to Paris, where rumors suggest she organized a lesbian cabaret. Additionally, it is rumored that she encountered her future partner, Hella Olstein, in a Parisian cabaret, and tragically, they both died in the Auschwitz concentration camp in 1943.1of 3
