Unpacking Our Library

July 9 – 11

We are unpacking our library.
For the first time, Capitain Petzel invites you to get your hands on our collection of selected publications, artist books, editions, posters, CDs and vinyls. This multiform archive accompanies, completes and describes the works of some of the artists from our program: Yael Bartana, Andrea Bowers, Natalie Czech, Roe Ethridge, Diango Hernández, Martin Kippenberger, Robert Longo, Adam McEwen, Peter Piller, Amy Sillman, just to name a few.
This is also the unique chance to add your favorite piece from Seth Price’s fashion line to your wardrobe. “Folklore U.S.” was a special collaboration between the artist and Tim Hamilton in occasion of dOCUMENTA 13. Another highlight are ten original drawings from Peter Piller’s “Office Drawings”, offered to you as a special opportunity in collector’s boxes with an artist book. And on top, you find unique prints by Amy Sillman from her exhibition at our gallery in 2011.

We want to celebrate this special occasion with you on July 9, from 4 to 9pm. Our library will stay open until July 11.
